2nd Conference of British Environmental Psychology Society

The British Environmental Psychology Society (BrEPS) is a newly founded network based in the UK. Inspired by the IPU (Initiative für Psychologie im Umweltschutz e.V.) PhD students from the University of Sheffield and an IPU member from Germany founded BrEPS in May 2014 with the aim to connect young scholars interested in environmental psychology research among the UK.

A first conference was held on 15th September 2014 at the Psychology Department of the University of Sheffield, UK. Almost 40 scholars from throughout the country gathered to discuss research on the topic ”Influencing pro-environmental behaviour: Ways to encourage pro-environmental behaviour of individuals and communities”.

The next conference will be on “Environmentally sustainable lifestyles” from 15th to 16th June 2015 at the University of Sheffield, UK. Calls for abstracts will open in early March - further updates soon. For more information please contact us at info@breps.gmail.com
